Radon mitigation
I have recently had a radon mitigation system added to my house from Aadvanced Aair in Dublin, Ohio. 614-766-2858. Kevin Mullins of Aadvanced Aair is licensed to mitigate radon from the State of Ohio Department of Health.

Below are the pictures of the steps to install the fan system at the sump pump. My crawl space was previously covered with heavy plastic. Homes with crawl spaces and without sump pump pits will have other methods to remediate than shown in the following pictures.
I hope that this helps visual with what is being done mechanically. The idea is to create a negative pressure in the drainage system under the house and direct the radon gases away from the interior.
